Summary

The PPI is a product of the World Bank’s Public Private Partnership Group. Its purpose is to identify and disseminate information on private participation in infrastructure projects in low- and middle-income countries.

The database shows the contractual arrangements used to attract private investment, the sources and destination of investment flows, and information on the main investors.

Data Pulling Instructions

  1. Navigate to https://ppi.worldbank.org/en/ppidata
  2. Under Custom Query click "create custom dataset"
  3. Select the indicators related to the table
    1. Choose "Use country list" under Choose Countries
  4. Click search
  5. Click "Download to Excel"
