UNSD Environmental Indicators are a set of global environmental statistics compiled and disseminated by the UNSD, covering ten key themes to track environmental trends and inform policy decisions.

They correspond to urban wastewater treatment plants and other wastewater treatment plants. Independent wastewater treatment facilities are not included in this definition of wastewater treatment plants.
