Summary

The International Transport Forum (ITF) is apart of OECD in an intergovernmental organization with 69 member countries. It acts as a think tank for transport policy and organizes the Annual Summit of transport ministers.

The ITF collects data across a broad range of transport policy topics. The ITF Statistics Team ensures data compliance with international recollection and processing standards.

The ITF uses questionnaires to collect data from transport ministries, national statistics offices and research institutes. On a yearly basis, ITF uses survey member countries are for data on their transport networks, equipment, freight and passenger transport, safety and spending on infrastructure. Additionally, their quarterly survey encompasses road traffic, new vehicles, and fuel use.
