Version 8.56 (Nov XXth, 2025)
You can download IFs Version 8.56 at IFs 8.56.
Interface Updates
- Increased decimals in Graphical Display for values lower than 10, the rule used to be that values that started below 1 would get 5 decimals else they would only 2, now the rule is below 10, so GDI when doing aggregations was producing 1.0005 or something like that producing only 2 decimals and causing step/like graphs.
- Fixes to the Create/Delete Variable Lists Forms, also the ability to select the filtering options to which each list belongs to was added.
- Fix to Explain for pre-run scenarios that were not included in the ifsInit.db file.
- Added Validation for Groups that don't exist in scenario tree when used in parameters with 2 dimensions.
- Fix for Index Base 1 when using new first year.
- Adding special logic to Marking Functions for Labor Coefficient.
- Fixes to convert old vb6 run files.
- Fix to changing aggregations from Flex Display when variable doesn't have historic analog, like GDPR.
Model Updates
- Handling Division by 0 in Bilateral Tariff Rate logic.
- Changes on education target (lower and upper sec graduation rates) fix.
- Minor revision of energy code (putting in a bound that was missing in the code for variable renewable’s system cost code).
