Running the Model
Single Scenario Run
To run the current selected or created scenario in the Scenario Tree from the Main Menu choose Scenario Analysis and click Run.
Enter a year between 2020 and 2150 to run the model to, then click Start Run to run the model or Cancel to return to the previous page. Click Help to open the corresponding page in the Pardee Wiki. When the model begins to run the cursor will change to the loading circle, four graphs will appear, and message at the bottom of the screen will state "Running the Model, Please wait for the initialization to finish...." or "Running the Model...."
While the model is running, click the Interrupt button to stop the run. Once the model has finished running the Interrupt and Start Run buttons will be replaced by a Run Successful - Click to Continue button, and the message at the bottom of the screen will state "The Model was completed successfully". Click Run Successful - Click to Continue to return to the Mani Menu.
The run file is still not yet saved, though the results can be viewed using the "Working file" scenario until starting a new session of IFs. Follow the directions in File Management to save the run file.
Batch Run
To run multiple saved scenarios in one process use the Batch Run option. From the Main Menu choose Scenario Analysis and click Batch Run. A screen with a list of scenario folders saved in the "Scenario" folder of IFs on the current device will appear. Click on the folder that houses the scenarios desired to run. Then click Select to run the scenarios. Click Continue to cancel the run and return the Main Menu.
The screen will begin to appear as it is loading. After a few to several minutes a new screen with a count on what scenario has run and what year of run within that scenario will be shown. Depending on the size and number of scenarios this could take 30 minute or longer. A message will appear saying the runs were successful once complete, click Continue. The scenarios ran using Batch Run will be automatically saved as run files and available to pull results from.
