World Energy Council (WEC)

The World Energy Council (WEC) is the foremost multi-energy organization in the world.  WEC has Member Committees in nearly 100 countries, including most of the largest energy-producing and energy consuming countries. Established in 1923; the organization provides data on all types of energy, including coal, oil, natural gas, nuclear, hydro, and renewables. The World Energy Council is perhaps the only source of extensive analyses of ultimate resources for fossil fuels, which it provides by country in a publication called the Survey of Energy Resources.   The publication details 16 key energy resources with data provided by 96 WEC Member Committees worldwide.
